Dr. Paola D'Avoli is an esteemed archaeologist and the head of the Italian mission at the archaeological site of Dimeh Sabaa in the Faiyum region of Egypt. She has played a crucial role in the excavation and preservation of the site's ancient artifacts, which date back to the Greco-Roman period. Under her leadership, the Italian mission has discovered significant structures, including temples and a 400-meter-long pathway leading to Lake Qarun.
