Paola Firmi

Paola Firmi is the newly appointed president of Rfi, having a distinguished career with Ferrovie dello Stato since 1993. She holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Environmental Design of Transport Infrastructures from La Sapienza University in Rome. Firmi has held various significant roles within Rfi, focusing on environmental and technical standards, and most recently led the vice general direction for development and standards. Her extensive experience includes leadership positions in national and international committees.
