Papa Júlio II

Julius II, born Giuliano della Rovere in 1443, was Pope from 1503 to 1513 and is often referred to as the 'Warrior Pope' due to his military endeavors. He is best known for commissioning the rebuilding of St. Peter's Basilica and for his patronage of the arts, which included the works of Michelangelo and Raphael. His papacy marked a significant period of artistic and cultural achievement in the Renaissance, as he sought to strengthen the papal authority and influence in Europe.
