Parks Mankahlana

Parks Mankahlana is a South African diplomat who served as a spokesperson for former President Thabo Mbeki. He is known for his role in managing the communication around Mbeki's diplomatic visits and was involved in addressing the media regarding Mbeki's absence during a visit to Kenya in 1999, attributing it to the President's exhaustion after late-night negotiations in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
