Pascal Rafik Mounir was an 18-year-old Egyptian girl from Cairo who tragically passed away from a cardiac arrest while attending the Jubilee of Youth in Rome. Despite suffering from a serious heart condition, she was determined to participate in the event. Pascal's condition worsened after a day of activities, and although medical assistance was summoned, she sadly did not survive. Her death deeply affected her peers, many of whom studied with her at a Catholic school, and led to expressions of condolences from Pope Leo, who acknowledged the profound loss felt by her friends and community.
