Pat Miletich

Pat Miletich is a former UFC welterweight champion and a pioneer in mixed martial arts, known for his achievements in the sport during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He won the inaugural welterweight title at UFC 16 in 1998 and successfully defended it four times before losing it in 2001. Miletich is also recognized for his contributions as a trainer, having coached several UFC champions including Matt Hughes and Robbie Lawler. In September 2023, he made headlines after being arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol for the third time.
