Patience Nabukalu

Patience Nabukalu is a 27-year-old Ugandan climate activist who became passionate about environmental advocacy after experiencing the devastating effects of severe flooding in her community at a young age. Inspired by the loss of her friend and the destruction of her neighborhood, she works to amplify the voices of those affected by climate change in Uganda. Recently, she traveled to London to participate in HSBC's annual general meeting, where she aimed to deliver a letter to the bank's CEO, urging an end to financing fossil fuel projects that harm vulnerable communities and contribute to the climate crisis.
