Patricia Durrant-Young

Patricia Durrant-Young is a community leader and founder of the Inner City Youth Task Force & Job Force Limited and the Parade Gardens Parenting Club. She has been instrumental in improving the quality of life in Parade Gardens, Jamaica, through initiatives that focus on reducing crime, enhancing social outcomes, and providing job opportunities for residents. Durrant-Young's work, particularly with Project STAR, emphasizes mentorship and support for parents and youth, helping over 100 families to thrive. Her personal experiences with struggle drive her passion for community development, as she aims to provide the next generation with the support she wished she had.
