Patricia Ortega

Patricia Ortega is a Venezuelan filmmaker born in 1977, currently residing in Sevilla, Spain. She holds a degree in Social Communication and graduated from the International School of Film and Television in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, specializing in directing. Her debut feature film, 'Yo, Imposible' (2018), was distributed by HBO in the United States and earned various accolades, including the Espiga Arcoiris at Seminci 2018. Ortega's recent work, 'Mamacruz', premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and received critical acclaim, solidifying her reputation as a rising voice in cinema.
