Patrik Hadenius

Patrik Hadenius is a Swedish writer and language advocate known for his work in promoting the importance of language in society. He has contributed articles on language to various publications, including Dagens Nyheter (DN). Recently, he received a commission from the Swedish Academy to explore the feasibility of establishing a new museum dedicated to language, particularly the Swedish language. This initiative has led to the upcoming pop-up language museum, 'Rum för språk,' set to open at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm on November 10. Hadenius believes that everyone engages with language, and he aims to create a space for dialogue and exploration around this fundamental aspect of human experience. He has also formed a museum foundation with a board that includes notable authors and members of the Academy.
