
Patty Duke
Patty Duke was an acclaimed American actress who rose to fame as a child star and went on to have a successful career in film, television, and theater. She won an Academy Award for her performance in 'The Miracle Worker' (1962) and became a household name for her role in 'The Patty Duke Show.' Duke was also an outspoken advocate for mental health awareness, sharing her own struggles with bipolar disorder, and continued to act and inspire until her death in 2016.
