Patty Hadju

Patty Hadju is a Canadian politician and member of the Liberal Party, currently serving as the Minister of Indigenous Services. She has been an advocate for Indigenous rights and health services, recently responding to the urgent needs of the Neskantaga First Nation, which has been facing a state of emergency due to water contamination and a long-standing boil-water advisory. In February 2024, she announced the federal government's commitment to assist the community in designing a new water treatment plant and improving existing infrastructure to ensure access to clean water.
