
Paul de Souza
Paul de Souza is a prominent Bahamian sailor and reigning champion of the International Laser Class Association (ILCA) Bahamas Open Senior Nationals. After a three-month training period, he recently competed in the Bahamas Sailing Association’s national championships, where he placed second behind Portuguese Olympian Eduardo Marques, while also facing off against local rival Joshua Higgins. De Souza has a rich sailing history, having started competing at age ten and representing the Bahamas in numerous international events. He is currently focused on preparing for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
