Paul Ehorn

Paul Ehorn is an esteemed shipwreck hunter and researcher known for his extensive efforts in locating lost shipwrecks across the Great Lakes. At the age of 80, he recently gained recognition for leading a team that discovered the wreck of the Lac La Belle, a luxury steamer that sank in Lake Michigan in 1872. Ehorn has been pursuing the location of this historic shipwreck since 1965, showcasing his dedication and passion for maritime archaeology. His recent discovery was made possible by a clue from fellow wreck hunter Ross Richardson, illustrating the collaborative nature of this field.
