Pauline Brown

Pauline Brown is a community activist from Haworth, West Yorkshire, who, alongside her friend Rita Verity, played a pivotal role in establishing a sister city relationship between their small village and the renowned Inca site of Machu Picchu. Their journey began over 20 years ago, inspired by shared cultural and historical ties, and has since evolved into various charitable initiatives and community projects aimed at strengthening the connection between the two locales.
