Pauline Nguyen

Pauline Nguyen is a prominent Australian restaurateur, author, and television personality, best known for co-founding the acclaimed restaurant Red Lantern in Sydney alongside her brother, celebrity chef Luke Nguyen, and partner Mark Jensen. Red Lantern, which opened in 1999, has played a vital role in introducing and celebrating Vietnamese culture and cuisine in Australia. Despite its popularity and significant contributions to the culinary landscape, the restaurant announced its closure in November 2025 after 25 years of operation, citing challenges faced in the food and beverage industry.
