Pavel Šarina is a co-founder of the social enterprise Deaf Group, which originated from the successful Deaf Kebab project in Veľký Krtíš, Slovakia. Despite being deaf, he started the kebab business with his brother Róbert at the age of 21, aiming to create job opportunities for people with disabilities and marginalized communities. His innovative approach to entrepreneurship has earned him and his business multiple awards, including the prestigious Roma Spirit award for promoting social integration. Under his leadership, Deaf Group has grown to employ around 100 people and recently expanded its operations to provide meals for over 1,000 soldiers at a military training center, showcasing his commitment to both social responsibility and business success.
