Pavel Shitov

Pavel Shitov is a Russian businessman and former owner of Smolensk Bank, who was recently mentioned in connection with the seizure of assets linked to Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky. Following a court ruling in 2024, Shitov's activities were prohibited along with those of Kolomoisky, due to alleged involvement in extremist activities and financing of the Ukrainian army. The court mandated the transfer of ownership of various companies and properties, including significant energy-related assets, to the federal government.
