Pedro Mariani is a long-time leader within the Federation of Truck Drivers in Argentina, having worked closely with Hugo Moyano since the 1980s. He has played a vital role in consolidating Moyano's control over the union and recently stepped down from his position as Secretary of the Gremial and Interior, reportedly due to health issues and a lack of recognition from Moyano.
