Pedro Pizarro

Pedro Pizarro was a Spanish chronicler and cousin of the renowned conquistador Francisco Pizarro. He documented the events surrounding the Spanish conquest of the Inca Empire and provided valuable accounts of the cultural practices of the Inca, including the significance of child sacrifices, as he noted that these young victims continued to serve as intermediaries between the living community and the gods long after their deaths.
