Pedro Valdemar Soares Gonçalves

Pedro Gonçalves is a Portuguese football manager born on February 7, 1976, in Lisbon, Portugal. He began his coaching career in 1997 and gained prominence as the head coach of the Angola national team from 2019 to 2025, leading them to significant successes including a quarterfinal finish in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and their first-ever U-17 World Cup qualification. Recently, he was appointed as the head coach of Young Africans (Yanga), succeeding Roman Folz, as the club aims to enhance its performance in the CAF Champions' League.
