Pedro Vargas
Pedro Vargas, at 53 years old, is actively awaiting his fourth kidney transplant, having previously undergone three transplants throughout his life. Diagnosed with kidney issues at 21, he has been on dialysis since 26. With over 25 years of service at the CSS, Vargas is a dedicated advocate for patients with chronic kidney disease, having founded the Fundación Anpircf and co-founded the Federation of Chronic Patients of Panama, using his experiences to highlight the critical importance of organ donation.
