Pekka Perttunen

Pekka Perttunen was a Finnish politician and member of the Social Democratic Party, who tragically passed away at the age of 30 in the Finnish Parliament building. His death was reported as not involving any criminal activity. Perttunen began his political career at a young age, becoming a city councilor in Jarvenpaa at 18 and later serving as the city council chair at 22. He was elected to the Finnish Parliament in 2023 and had recently disclosed on social media that he was undergoing treatment for kidney disease, which included battling a bacterial infection.
