Per Lindfors

Per Lindfors, also known as Peter Linden, was a renowned expert on antique carpets, rugs, kilims, and tapestries. Born in Sweden, he developed a passion for Persian rugs influenced by his father’s collection and his connections with experts in Stockholm. After relocating to Ireland, he operated the Peter Linden Gallery in Blackrock from 1979 until 2006, and continued to advise clients worldwide on the provenance of antique carpets until his passing in July 2024. His extensive knowledge and dedication to the craft made him a revered figure in the world of antique textiles.
