Percy López

Percy López is the head of the Unit of Chemical Analysis Services at the Faculty of Chemistry of the National University of San Marcos. He has expertise in the chemical properties and uses of agricultural pesticides, specifically metomil, a highly toxic compound used to control pests in agriculture. In a recent incident, he explained the dangers of metomil, particularly its effects on the nervous system, following reports of pet poisonings in public green areas.
