Pere L’Oros

Josep Maria Mas Pons, known as Pere L’Oros, is a prominent Andorran politician who dedicated over three decades to public service. Born in Encamp, he served as a general councilor from 1976 to 1982 and as subsíndic from 1982 to 1986 during a pivotal time in Andorra's political landscape. His contributions include involvement in the establishment of the Andorran educational system, the creation of the parish of Escaldes, and significant institutional reforms. Recently, he was honored by the Group of Former Syndics and General Councilors (Gesco) for his enduring commitment to the development of Andorra, marking 30 years of his impactful political career.
