Pere Mir

Pere Mir was a Spanish businessman known for his significant contributions to the chemical industry, particularly for developing a formula to produce formaldehyde from wood. He built a substantial fortune and dedicated much of his life to philanthropy, particularly in scientific research through his foundations, Cellex and Mir Puig, before passing away in 2017.
