Pesach Kobchevski

Pesach Kobchevski was a Jewish immigrant from Vilnius who moved to the United States in the early 20th century. He is notably recognized as the father of Vera Rubin, a pioneering astronomer whose groundbreaking work on galaxy rotation rates provided key evidence for the existence of dark matter.
