Peter Erskine

Peter Erskine is a renowned American jazz drummer, celebrated for his innovative contributions to modern jazz. Born in 1951, he gained prominence as a member of the legendary band Weather Report and has collaborated with a multitude of jazz icons, including Pat Metheny and Chick Corea. Over his illustrious career, Erskine has recorded more than 700 albums and won two Grammy Awards, earning him a place in the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame. Known for his heartful playing and deep musical insights, he continues to inspire audiences worldwide, recently highlighted by his anticipated performances at the 10th Made in New York Jazz Festival in Montenegro.
