Peter Kassig was an American humanitarian and former U.S. Army Ranger who dedicated his life to providing aid in conflict zones. He was captured by ISIS in Syria in 2013 while delivering medical supplies to refugees and was subsequently executed in 2014. Kassig's work highlighted the plight of those affected by war, and his legacy has continued to inspire humanitarian efforts worldwide. Recently, Qatar has initiated a search for his remains along with those of other Americans who were victims of ISIS.
