Peter Lérant

Peter Lérant is a former Slovak footballer who played as a midfielder. He gained prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s, especially noted for his participation in the UEFA European Championship in 2000. At that time, he was playing for Bayer Leverkusen in Germany and was recognized for his determination, having made a comeback from a serious knee injury to represent Slovakia on the international stage. Lérant was part of the Slovak team that had a historic run in the tournament, ultimately qualifying for the Olympics in Sydney, marking a significant achievement in Slovak football history.
