Peter Manning Jnr was recently in the news for being ordered to forfeit J$251,500 by the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court, after being unable to account for cash found in his vehicle during a police operation. His subsequent admission that the money was intended to purchase marijuana led to a search of his residence, where additional illegal substances were discovered.
