Petro Dobromilskyi

Petro Dobromilskyi is the head of the State Service for Children in Ukraine, known for his advocacy for the welfare of orphaned children and those deprived of parental care. Recently, he reported that there are approximately 61,500 such children in Ukraine, with a significant majority (91.2%) being raised in family-type care settings. He emphasized the importance of safety and proper matching between children and families during the adoption process, highlighting the government's efforts to improve living conditions for family-type orphanages and increase the number of adoptions in the country.
