Petruccia di Nocera was a devout widow and tertiary Augustinian known for her pivotal role in the history of the Church of Santa Maria del Buon Consiglio in Genazzano, Italy. In the 15th century, she invested her life savings to renovate and expand the church, which was struggling for funds. Her dedication led to a miraculous event on April 25, 1467, when an image of the Madonna appeared on the wall of the church, attracting pilgrims and revitalizing the site as a significant religious destination.
