Philipp Dutkowski
Philipp Dutkowski is a specialist in liver transplantation and formerly the head of the liver transplantation program at the University Hospital Zurich. Alongside Pierre-Alain Clavien, he played a key role in advancing the use of marginal donor livers, helping the institution gain international recognition. After leaving Zurich in 2023, Dutkowski took a position at the University Hospital Basel, which currently does not perform liver transplants, following a decision by health authorities to deny their application for such procedures.
