Philipp Orlyk
Philipp Orlyk was a prominent Cossack leader and the author of the first constitution of Ukraine in 1710. He was a close associate of Ivan Mazepa and played a significant role in the Cossack struggle for autonomy and independence from Russian control after the disastrous events that followed the Battle of Poltava.
