Pholphee Suwanachwee

Pholphee Suwanachwee is the Deputy Minister of the Interior of Thailand, overseeing the Provincial Electricity Authority and the Metropolitan Electricity Authority. He has recently been in the news for his role in the National Energy Policy Committee's decision to implement significant measures aimed at reducing electricity costs for low-income households. Under his guidance, the committee approved a special electricity rate of 3 baht for the first 200 units consumed, and eliminated public electricity fees from consumer bills, aiming to ease the financial burden on citizens.
