Danh ca Phượng Liên, born in 1947, is a celebrated Vietnamese cải lương singer known for her powerful voice and emotional performances. She rose to fame in the 1960s alongside other legends like Lệ Thủy and Mỹ Châu, becoming a prominent figure in the Vietnamese music scene. After residing in the United States for many years, she returned to Vietnam in December 2023 to reunite with fellow artists from the 'golden generation' of cải lương, sharing poignant memories and rekindling old friendships.
