Phyllis de Jong

Phyllis de Jong was a retired nurse and victim of murder in late 1991, whose tragic death at the hands of Bronwyn Rachael Warwick highlighted issues of violence against vulnerable individuals. De Jong had invited Warwick into her home, unaware of her criminal past, which culminated in a fatal burglary that led to Warwick's arrest and conviction for murder.
