Phyllis Hennemann
Phyllis Hennemann was the first known rape victim of the Golden State Killer in Sacramento, California. A courageous survivor, she fought through her trauma and later sought justice in the court system. Phyllis attended the sentencing of Joseph DeAngelo, finding closure and a sense of justice after decades of pain, despite her battle with cancer, which ultimately took her life shortly thereafter.
