Piergiorgio Welby

Piergiorgio Welby was an Italian activist known for his advocacy for the right to die with dignity. Suffering from muscular dystrophy that left him incapacitated, he became a prominent figure in the euthanasia debate after publicly appealing for legal recognition of assisted dying.
