Pierre Cancian

Pierre Cancian is the president of Serex, a company responsible for operating the wastewater treatment station in Saint-Laurent-du-Var. He has come under scrutiny for the station's failure to replace outdated filtration membranes, which he claims have not been changed since 2012 and 2013, despite their five-year lifespan. Cancian has voiced concerns about being made a scapegoat for the pollution issues, asserting that he has repeatedly alerted Eau d’Azur, the managing authority, about the need for maintenance and replacement of the membranes.
