Pierre Claverie

Pierre Claverie was a French bishop and a member of the Dominican Order, known for his commitment to interfaith dialogue and his work in Algeria during a time of civil conflict. He was assassinated in 1996, and his legacy continues to be honored, especially during the beatification of the martyrs of Algeria.
