Pierre-François Casgrain

Pierre-François Casgrain was a Canadian politician who served as the Secretary of State for Canada in the 1940s. He is noted for his role in arranging accommodations for the Habsburg family when they sought refuge in Canada during World War II. His efforts provided the family, including Zita of Bourbon-Parma, a safe haven during a time of great upheaval in Europe.
