Pierre Vaiana

Pierre Vaiana is a Belgian saxophonist of Sicilian descent, known for his innovative approach to jazz that blends various cultural influences. Having performed in Tunisia since 1994, he played a pivotal role in establishing a jazz school in Sidi Bou Saïd from 2001 to 2011, fostering a new generation of musicians. His latest album, 'Camera Obscura,' reflects an introspective journey, symbolizing hope and resilience through music. Vaiana's performance at the inaugural Jazz’it Festival showcased his unique style, which often combines lyrical and experimental elements.
