Pietro Mona

Pietro Mona is the newly appointed Swiss ambassador to Cabo Verde, committed to enhancing the friendship and cooperation between Switzerland and Cabo Verde. Following his presentation of credentials to President José Maria Neves, Mona emphasized the importance of exploring new areas of collaboration, particularly in the private sector, tourism, scientific cooperation, and joint efforts within the United Nations. He highlighted Switzerland's long-standing engagement with Cabo Verde, noting the significant Cabo Verdean community in Switzerland and the presence of Swiss citizens in Cabo Verde. Mona plans to regularly visit Cabo Verde to oversee cooperation projects and strengthen bilateral ties.
