Pilar del Castillo

Pilar del Castillo, born Gilberto Cárcamo Marroquín in 1936, is a prominent Salvadoran poet and performer known for his powerful expressions of pain and suffering through poetry. Despite enduring hardships, including unjust imprisonment for over three decades, he has dedicated his life to literature, recently publishing his first novel, 'La miseria que arrastramos.'
