Piñeiro

Piñeiro is a prominent political figure and candidate from the Frente Amplio (FA) party in Uruguay, known for her advocacy in social inclusion, culture, and diversity. She has been vocal about the importance of social policies that support vulnerable communities, which she refers to as essential programs that enrich cultural life in neighborhoods. Piñeiro has criticized the financial management of the current administration, particularly accusing the Partido Nacional of undermining the Intendencia de Montevideo's ability to serve its citizens. Living near the borders of the Prado-Nueva Savona and Atahualpa neighborhoods, she has deep roots in Montevideo, having grown up in the Brazo Oriental area before returning to her childhood neighborhood.
