Pip Burne

Pip Burne is a long-time resident of Waipawa and a member of the Friends of St Peter’s group, who has a deep personal connection to St Peter’s Church, having grown up there, married, and had her children baptized in its congregation. With the decline in attendance attributed to a societal shift in how Sundays are spent, Burne reflects on the changing role of church in the community, noting the importance of the church's historical and cultural significance.
