Polifemo

Polifemo, or Cyclops, is a one-eyed giant from Greek mythology, famously known for his encounter with Odysseus in Homer's 'Odyssey'. He is depicted as a brutal and uncivilized creature, representing the theme of the clash between civilization and barbarism. Odysseus famously blinds him in order to escape his cave, highlighting themes of cunning and survival.
